        HASTINGLEIGH

Walk with purpose the route of the pilgrims right on our door step. The Pilgrims’ Way is the historical route supposedly taken by pilgrims from Winchester in Hampshire to the shrine of Thomas Becket at Canterbury in Kent.

Well worth a look in; St. Mary the Virgin is situated at the bottom of the beautiful Hastingleigh valley. Worship is recorded from 1293 but there was probably a church here prior to 1066.
