An excellent juice for the winter months; blood oranges are in season December through May, they’re not only seasonal but ‘bloody lovely’.

This deep and tangy blend will elevate your standard juice to a seasonal masterpiece.

pomegranate, seeds and juice

blood orange, roughly peeled

carrots
STEP 2
1 tbsp
cacao powder

How to make it

JUICE AWAY

Juice the pomegranate seeds, orange and carrots.
Stir in the cacao powder and pour into a glass jar.
Give it a good shake until it's lump-free.

TO FINISH

Serve over ice or bottle up and keep in the fridge for up to 5 days.

How to deseed a pomegranate.
1 - Roll the fruit on a hard surface, this loosen the seeds.
2 - Cut in half.
3 - Hold each half over a bowl, seeds facing down and tap hard with a wooden spoon, squeezing a little to release the seeds.
